Regarding parking. They will validate parking in the parking building for free up to 2 hours. I heard the parking across the street cost 5 for the whole day. Sometimes there’s no one at the booth so you can leave without even paying because there’s nothing to stop your car. Overall, it’s better if you use the bus. As in books, they have wide variety but they have one book set so be prepared to be told that someone else has it at the counter. You can put it on hold and be the first one to check it out when it’s available. Some adult comics/manga/books are incomplete which is frustrating at times but it is what it is. What they don’t have at the library can be found on Libby/Overdrive. Seating wise, they have tons of tables with chairs all around the facility. They even have a hangout spot downstairs with sofas and comfortable chairs, but unfortunately they’re just for teens. I hope they can have one for adults for upstairs as that’s where adult content be found. The chairs on the main floor hurts my bottom so much. I hope they upgrade or switch the chairs sometime soon. I wish they had individual desks/study as they had before so that a whole table won’t be wasted on one person. I really like how the information desk helps people with the computers/books. They even have an event calendar on what’s going on with the library. I wish they had information about other libraries, city as well as oc stuff like OCTA. Overall, excellent service and building. I can’t wait how it would look in the future.

Very big selection and useful resources! Jaime in the history room is awesome and all the nice staff at the front desk are super helpful! Side note: 1 gentlemen at the tech-desk is....let's just say he is NOT the nicest person lol But other than that great staff great books great resources beautiful building architecture, parking validated, Santa Ana Library is a great place! True hidden gem in this beautiful community

The Santa Ana public library is open to the public again. Looks great! With fewer people than before one can enjoy reading in a relaxed way.

City of Santa Ana does have a EDD office located at the Train Station off Santa Ana Blvd. I believe the 2nd floor
Yes. You can go to the 2nd floor and get help from the Learning Center or downstairs to TeenSpace where they will pair up your kid with a very helpful tutor
The library takes books, DVDs and CDs as Donations
Yes, they have many to choose from in the young adult section in the basement floor.
Parking is available in the parking garage west of the Library. Parking validation for 2 hours for Library cardholders only.)
You may use your name and date of birth at circulation for checking out books. Using a computer may have different rules. I don't think you can but it never hurts to ask.
There is a genealogy group which meets at the Rossmoor-Los Alamitos branch. If contact them for their meeting dates and times. Really don't believe that the public libraries have a genealogy department. If they did, they're not in the business to conduct research and print results.
I don't think so.
No, I think not
The library is open on Sundays but the times are different. Library is opened at 12PM and closed at 4PM. In short, 12-4.
The library does not offer Los Angeles classes, no. But they do have books about Los Angeles if you are interested.
There is tutoring offered. The basement area (Teen Space) offers tutoring for all grades from kinder to high school seniors.
There is free parking but you will need to validate at the circulation desk (where you check out books). It is a max of two hours but you can move your car out of the parking lot and back in and get another two free hours. @Jonathan Gutierrez No you cannot pay a street swiping citation at the library but the library is right next to city hall.
The library is open on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
