AK nails is undeniably the best nail salon in Buffalo, NY. I have been going to this salon for 4+ years and tell all my friends and family to switch over to here as well. My acrylics are always done flawlessly. My nail tech specifically went out of her way to find an acrylic powder that worked best for my nails. She can match any design and most of the time… makes designs better than the picture I show her. Absolutely incredible service and I look forward to my appointment every two weeks!!

There is not one salon comparable to that of AK Nails in Buffalo. I recently moved back to Buffalo from living in NYC for 6 years - and I am blown away with every visit. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. The nail techs there never fail to disappoint. This Valentine’s Day set is one of many sets that I have gotten multiple compliments on, AND it is a week old. Jeni kills it EVERYTIME. I’d recommend this salon to anyone that asks. Not the worst service I’ve received but I wasn’t impressed. I had a 2:15 appointment for a full set. One guy sat me down and filed my nails and glued the tips on. I then had to wait an hour for someone else to trim, shape, and buff my nails. Then I was pushed to another nail tech for polish. A few of my nails came out looking clumpy but had been at the salon for two hours at this point and had other things to do so I didn’t ask her to fix them. I understand everyone is short staffed. But please don’t book appointments if you don’t have the time. I’d rather be told to come in another day than to be stuck sitting for hours waiting for someone to attend to me. Especially since I wasn’t just a walk-in. The techs were polite but I think I will be looking elsewhere.
