The food at The Bayou is top notch, the bar is incredibly relaxed and fun. The owner and the staff are so nice and welcoming. Every dish I have ever tried has been amazing. The Buffalo chicken and shrimp pizza-boys are some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The margaritas are so delicious and great portioned sized. If you are looking for real southern style cuisine this is the place to be. It is my absolute favorite locally owned restaurant!

The food is good here but I bought 3 whiskeys and they charged an extra $6.00 for my drinks because they were on the rocks. My wife ordered 2 tall deep eddy and lemon and they charged $3.00 extra for water. I've never been anywhere that charged for water or ice! If we ever go and eat there it'll be just take out. We'll have our beverages somewhere else.

The fish was great! Small but great taste. The sides well were a child’s handful of fries if that and something they tried to say was coleslaw left a disgusting taste on the pallet! I paid 50.00 for 3 and it wasn’t worth it at all.

What an excellent restaurant! We drive past this location at least 4 times a week and honestly never really noticed it. After a post was shared about their burger of the week, we just had to check out The Bayou! Let me tell you, there was nothing disappointing about it here! The alligator bites were on point! The open faced bacon cheeseburger special of the week was phenomenal! Their peach sweet tea is incredible! The atmosphere is also very nice, I like the hanging bayou-like plants around the ceiling, and some nice classic rock playing adds a nice touch. The owner was at on site, rolling up silverware into the napkins, and after talking with him, he definitely has passion for what he's doing here! They will be moving to a new location in September though. Most definitely a hidden gem, I hope all goes well with the move. My family and I will definitely be eating here more frequently!
