My treatment at ShorePoint was exceptional. The nurses, the CNA's, everyone was amazing. I was treated with respect, and professional care. I felt that the staff at ShorePoint was above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this facility over and over again. It was a FIVE star 🌟 experience. Thank you to all of you at ShorePoint for taking such good care of me during my one night stay.

I entered the hospital with a very caring person taking me to surgery. I thought the nursing staff was excellent in the way they were understanding and kind and very patient with me, as I was in a lot of pain after hip replacement. Some people went out of there way to make me comfortable. I will never forget the team that took care of me. Thankyou to Lisa Director of nursing who helped with all my pain issues.

Amazing experience… everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable. I was so nervous about the surgery that I’m guessing the nurses knew and literally made me forget why I was there in the first place (in a good way). Procedure was done they took great care of me and even called me 24hrs after my procedure to check in on me. Never have I ever had that before.

I was scheduled for a heart ablation at 10:00 am February 17 reporting at 7:00am. Everything went smoothly and quickly and easily. I can’t say enough good things and thanks to my main nurse Lynne. She was wonderful and anticipated everything. All questions were answered and I really felt I was in good hands. Everyone was great from the X-ray techs, the anesthesiologists and the great crew in the lab. Except the patches were cold but he warned me!!! And the recovery was just as good. Thanks so much for taking great care of me. Jack

Yes it is now. In the past the cleaning staff did nit stay on top of things. Very clean very new. Have not been there to see how they handle the very old with not much time as of yet. That is going to be the big test of a amazing facility. If they can keep up with that they deserve a five star rating. As far as i have seen four 🌟 and they earned it.
It depends on the time of your appointed procedure.

Good morning Mr. Murphy. Yes, we have PBX Operators on staff, available to answer calls 24/7.
Hi Laura Veach. The federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) includes privacy regulations that govern what patient information may, or may not, be released to individuals outside the hospital. In protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our patients and patient information, we do not post status.
You'll have to call and see what their schedule is. They might be busy and the schedule already already full.
Good morning Tammy. Our patient advocate is an onsite resource for patients and their families that can help answer questions about their stay or be a point of contact to connect them with various members of the team.
We understand family members and friends are an important part of the healing process for our patients and we welcome you to visit Bob. We allow flexibility in visiting based on a patient's condition and preference, however, we encourage you to check with admission or the main desk prior to visiting to make sure your visit occurs at the most appropriate time.
We do have a Cardiac Patient Navigator, Marie, who works with each of our cardiac patients and their families.
You're right Lisa Upright! Our hours currently are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for lab work.
You sure can. Just give us a call!
Lol yeah right! It’s bad enough you can’t get no sleep when you roommate keeps you up all the time! Then they send her to rehab. But guess what? New roommate came in at 7:30 pm. And she was with her husband. She never stopped talking to him. Time 9:30 pm and still here. And still talking. They have no respect for other people who are in pain and can’t get no sleep. Fawcett at least has a time restriction. I hope I never go back!
Good morning Lucy. If you visit our website and use our Find a Doctor tool, and choose 'cardiology' as a specialty, you should find a list of physicians that perform TEE's. https://www.bayfrontcharlotte.com/find-a-doctor
Hi Raymond! For a list of neurosurgeons on staff, please visit our website and use our 'Find a Doctor' tool. https://www.bayfrontcharlotte.com/find-a-doctor
Wonderful nurses and lactation consultants. The rooms where you deliver get the job done. If you ask for a birthing ball, they'll bring you one. As long as the department isn't swamped, and it usually isn't, you'll have a private room in the post-natal area. Baby stays in the room with you and they'll have diapers, wipes, and some swaddling blankets. There might be even more now. They provide tours of the facilities and offer breastfeeding and various other new parent education series that are quite helpful for new parents before you give birth. If you register for delivery at the hospital, some classes are free.
I do not know, but I'd like to hear more about this. Do they also help with nicotine addicts? It sounds like a wonderful thing.
Hi Esther. Bayfront Health Port Charlotte has semi-private rooms with the exception of the Southwest Florida Heart Center on campus that is all private.
