Walmart Neighborhood Market

Short story: Store makes up their own policies and are not inline with Walmart corporate policies on price matches. Long story: Store does not honour corporate policies around price matching EXACT items that are sold on WALMART.COM. This is from their policy available online -“For identical items purchased in a Walmart U.S. store, we will match the item price advertised on Walmart.com” I went through the policy in detail and the item I tried to price match is eligible, but this store did not want to. I spoke to the manager and it seems there has been a lot cases of fraud due to which they apparently stopped price matching items. The store is clean, people working in the store are polite and courteous, products are well organised and stocked up.

Mainly giving the 4 stars because of pick up I pick up for my client a lot here but on this specific morning my phone died I couldn’t call and this girl she had short blonde hair forgot to look at name tag she was the sweetest when I talked to her abt I felt abt an employee she apologized like she did it but I don’t know your name thank you but I saw the other tag his name was Matt I am a care provider but worked at retail growing up I understand that you can’t work off the clock but it don’t hurt to ask a question I saw him in his car sitting didn’t want to interrupt him on his break I was like well let me wait til someone walk but the girl had others to do so finally I see Matt abt to head back in I said you know what it’s a quick question I said excuse me I just have a quick question for you he said “I’m off the clock” I said well … it’s something u can just answer me verbally…he looked silly when I said that I said my phone died and I wanted to see if I should go knock at the door to alarm them I’m here ? Or should I just wait til the lady come (girl I was referring to earlier) he said oh I will let them know your here like how hard was that ? I know it’s obvious your off the clock I was one of them employees that didn’t mind asking questions I love helping people people who say they off the clock for the question only care abt their checks or just not deep helpful and friendly like you say you are I was polite enough to not bother you on your break or if you was about to clock back in .

Wasn't impressed previously with the curbside pickup because it took forever, but the inside of the store was clean and pleasant and I was able to find what I needed.

I stopped by today 5-31-21, Memorial Day, to grab a few needed items for traditional barbecue today. Store was pretty busy. The store was pretty clean inside considering how busy it was. I had to talk to two different employees to find the specific items I needed, both employees were very nice and helpful, also the cashier was very nice. I can almost always find the items I need here that other supermarket’s don’t carry.
