Pretty busy in store but the customer service was very good and cashier was very friendly!

After 5, you are not quickly stopping in this location for anything. The checker situation is in dire straits at this location. You will stand in lines that lead down the aisle. I can't blame the employees because this is a management problem. It's the only place to shop in the area. Update: I went back to see if things had changed after a month. It was the same it was a weekday around 12. There were only a couple checkers. I took my chance and tried the self-checkout line. A rude old lady cut Infront of me. I could tell she was just looking for a confrontation, so I just smiled. I was in line that day for thirty minutes. I can confirm with this update this location has not changed. I have started shopping at WINCO. The prices at WINCO are much better. The lines for check out are quick. If you can get out of Oildale, I highly recommend WINCO. There are self-check lines, but they are not a mile long. I can confirm there are many checkers with open lines. The place does get busy with the same type of people. They are large and in charge you know the type that think they own the store. The type who are as wide as they are tall and walk down the middle of the aisle holding the shopping traffic up. A terrible old lady took as long as humanly possible at self checkout like a real long time but she made sure to rush the bags into her cart and jog out of store...but it was otherwise a very wonderful trip to the local Walmartbgrocer

For a small store it sales out fast lines are always long and they need more employees to stock and run the registration but a bigger store would have been more comfortable here
