One of my happy places in the world. Challenging trail and definitely for an experienced hiker. Parking lot is tiny, and fills up fast so I would go pretty early. Views are gorgeous and great place to think and escape from hectic fast paced life.

Nice hike. Dogs are allowed on and off leash.

Great hiking area. Bring water and food! If you go early you can see different species of wildlife like Foxes and Bobcats, if you go later in the day you'll see... People. Lol either way, great hike to get exercise!

The Castle Rock trail is my go-to when I need a short escape + workout. It has some good hills, great views and an occasional run-in with the local wildlife. Dogs can go off-leash once up in the hills.

No, only authorized vehicles are aloud to enter park Park Ranger, Emergency Vehicles
Yes. They must be leashed in parking lots and developed areas but can be off leash in undeveloped areas or parklands as long as the owner has control of the animal.
