Great place to relax, hike, ride a bike, walk your dog or cultivate one of the community gardens, if you're lucky to brave the waiting list 😀

Small open space park with free parking, clean public restroom, a set of public gardens for flowers and vegetables. Park has a trail to the Shell Ridge Open space. There is a ranger station in the old historic building. Park has some outdoor wooden tables. Note - there is not a lot of shades in the park

Nice little community garden at the foot of the Kovar Trail to Ridgetop Trail Loop at Shell Ridge. This locale is the gateway to Kovar Trail to Ridgetop Trail Loop at Shell Ridge Park. Nice trails crisscrossing the foothills between Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill/Concord. Views of Las Trampas Ridge, Walnut Creek, Concord, Benicia and Mt. Diablo.

There are bike racks at the Mt Diablo Church just up the hill.

Can you do weddings there
