We never got out of our car. The place is completely run down on the outside. In fact we thought it was closed permanently. Looked like it was abandoned. Plastic cover with painters tape covered one large window. Paint peeling all over the walls outside. Place needs to be torn down. Looks nothing like an IHOP. Shame on the company for allowing one of their restaurants to look like a dilapidated rats nest.

I go in to pick up a Mother’s Day breakfast for my wife. The pic below shows the quality of the food served at this place. Also, the waitresses we’re having a loud argument with each other in the presence of the customers. This place went downhill fast!

Legitimately the worst IHOP I've ever had. Servers were nice. It was super weird on the day after Earth day to have a sit down meal with real plates and mugs, but plastic utensils, ketchup in plastic cups, syrup (one type) in plastic cups. Watery, burnt coffee. No coffee refills offered (mixed feelings there obviously). Over medium eggs were totally under (like less than 'easy' - borderline raw), scrambled eggs were completely overcooked leathery garbage and seemed more like some kind of processed egg substitute. All food was cold, but served pretty quickly... how is that possible?

The food was great the staff was friendly but the restaurant itself is really small. I had a party on 12 and had to wait a hour and a half just to be seated. And then my party had to be split up. While waiting for our food, the buser felt the need to clear my table. My waiter was very nice and funny. This was a first time visit and I won't be back.

Franchisees or corporate. IHOP could always find a new home and in ardmore, it's a tradition going to IHOP. But traditions change, grow, diminish, comeback and get reboots. The only thing sad is when they end. When I worked for the security company in ardmore I used stop in IHOP in the early 90s. Then again when I worked for a taxi company in 2006. I now live in another state. I came back for a visit. Glad I did. If it's still there in August I will stop in.
Look it up on google maps.
