This is a great place to work, I have been with ORTC/BTC for the past 5 years as a Counselor, the company promoted within and I moved into the Clinical Supervisor position April 2021. The company continues to implement things for employees such as professional development days, health insurance, incentives, bonuses, wellness activities, etc.. Prior to coming to BTC I worked in a variety of treatment modalities/settings, this modality has been one of the most inspiring for me personally. The clientel here at BTC are amazing, wonderful people, and are also the reason I enjoy coming into work everyday. The current staff is great, they are genuine, enpathetic people who preform well at what they do while also providing individualized care. Days can sometimes be hectic but each staff member takes time to support and empower one another. We also have a new Program Director who has done amazing things since taking the position.

Worst clinic I’ve been to. Very inconsistent and incompetent staff. The doctor had no business dealing with addicts. She’s has no training in this field and is rude and heartless and will refuse to see you if you request. The counselors are horrible not one of them follows the same guidelines lines nor do they communicate with you about anything. They will tell you one thing and you come in to something completely different. It’s a surprise everyday you walk in.

If your considering recovery this is the place to go, they are truely great people to help you through this very hard decision and road to take!!! They are caring and considerate all counselor's have had there own past problems so they know how your feeling in all parts of recovery and also have the skills to work with each individual in a way to help you in the best way possible to keep you on the right track. The nurses are great and interested in your life just as much as the counselors. If it weren't for the staff and their high expectations of each individual at BTC I wouldn't have held my self to a higher standard of recovery. Thank you to all of the staff and especially my counselor Autumn who has helped me through all my highs and lows through almost my first year of recovery and helping improve the lives of my children, family and most importantly myself. If it weren't for all the smiles and daily chit chat every morning I don't know if I could say I would be alive today to watch my girls grow up literally or figuratively cause for the first time in years I can feel all my feelings and see everything for what it is and not what my drug brain thinks it is. <3 <3 <3 Thank you!!! <3 <3 <3

Questions & Answers

Do you have residential treatment for alcohol and how much does it cost?

Guy Ryan Harrelson | Aug 23, 2018

No, they don't have residential treatment for anything at all. BestCare is the only facility in Central Oregon that does. (besides the ER, I suppose) This place is an outpatient Medication-assisted opiate abstinence clinic only. Nothing else.

is this treatment free?

Only if you have healthcare coverage, Medicaid for example. Otherwise, you'll be paying with your own money out of pocket each time you're required to see the doctor, for the weekly tacility fee and the cost of all the medication you use during that week.

Is marijuana considered a "relapse" that would warrant extra supervision?

You must have your Medical card on file to provide them with. Extra supervision... ?? That depends on how you handle yourself and provide proper documents. If you maintain a good relationship with yourself , stuck to your plan, see your counselor you will graduate to take outs, take home. Weekly, bi weekly then monthly. The couple that runs the place are amazing.
