I lived there from 2006 to 2020. The first few years were pretty good; the rent was reasonable and the neighborhood overall had decent neighbors. Over time the property went downhill. The residents were increasingly problematic and the rent went up every year to the point I was priced out, which was one of the reasons I opted to move out. The leasing office attitude toward me changed over time as well. After needing to switch jobs and living on a lower income as a result, the office initially was willing to work with me and one year even allowed me to renew without increasing the rent. Unfortunately, after the staff changed the attitude did as well. They ceased being cooperative and the rent continued to climb to the point the units were no longer affordable. The litigiation between Jared Kushner and the state of Maryland, coupled with the sale to OneWall (which occurred after I moved), made life difficult too. How could residents find stability in a neighborhood that was being sued and later sold? At the time I left, Baltimore County was forcing landlords to take in more Section 8 housing. The people who abuse the system to get on housing assistance are the ones who help make the neighborhood less desirable to live. Since Baltimore County forbids landlords from capping section 8 residencies, Hopkins Point will probably continue its death spiral as it did under the Whispering Woods name. Overpriced and overrun, I am glad I no longer live there.

Google Man

We are a current residents. We have recently renewed our lease, that would put us through until December 2021. Today my wife informed me that we have rats in our place, again. This is not our first time with this situation. This needs to get fixed, and quickly. You all in management know what we have been through since the 1st day we grabbed our keys, December 2020. We have photos and videos of all the BS! that we have been through since moving in. My wife spoke with Candice today in reference to the situation & to my understanding Candice stated, "we have bombed your place 3 times so you'll guy are going to have to come out of your pockets". Helter Skelter

I’m done with this place. This was my counter today while cleaning, have to bleach counters everyday because it’s infested with roaches. Got bait traps at Home Depot and come dark, hundreds of bugs run along my counter walls and floors. Can’t wait to get up out of here. These homes are infested past repair.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! I lived here for about 2 years. The townhouses look good on the website but i promise you they’re not! Where do i even start.. First off when i went to see the house they showed me the house that’s in the rental office, it looked very nice. They told me i could move in a house in the next week. The house they said was ready for me was not even the house that i moved in, they gave me a whole other house and they lied and said that it was going to be a dishwasher in the house but it wasn’t, it was nothing where the dishwasher was supposed to be, they then told me that i had to buy one and get it installed myself. Ignoring that because it wasn’t that big of a deal but as soon as I moved in the house, it was VERY dirty. Writings on the walls, they were very brown, and the carpets had stains everywhere!! I asked about it constantly, maintenance never came! It got to the point where I just stopped and tried cleaning it myself! Also the house are very bug infested, LOTS OF ROACHES.. you cannot get rid of them. A lot of mice, and a lot of ants. The people in the office are very rude, the maintenance is very poor, and the community is very dangerous! There’s a lot of drug dealers.. there were multiple times where an incident happened where a gun was involved too. Overall i do not recommend living here at all! If i could i would rate it 0! Just giving y’all a heads up if you’re planning on moving here...
