Seneca Bay has been my home for three years now, and I would like to place emphasis on the word HOME. They have literally been there for absolutely everything for me with any issue, not to mention they have helped me throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He community is safe, clean, and relatively quiet while being within short distance of any retailer you would need as well as public transit. They have bikes you can rent, their pool is amazing, and most importantly; I know i’m safe here and feel proud to live here.

To expense and not worth the price. Apartments are old and out dated appliances . They moved me into a model apartment not cabinet space, first it had mold in the cabinets , then something was in the carpet and was biting me I still have marks on my legs , now roaches. I put in a work Order and they mark it as complete and nobody has come to spray the unit.

Overall, Seneca Bay has been a wonderful community to reside in for over three years at this point. I wanted to highlight a few pros and cons of the complex: Pros: - Maintenance - Matt, the maintenance supervisor and his team go above and beyond to ensure that tenants are extremely pleased with their living environment. Any issue I have had, mostly small, has been addressed expeditiously and satisfactory. I can't say enough about how great they are! - Complex Amenities - The fitness center, dog park, landscaping, and common area are all well kept, and the pool is the greatest pool that you will find in the area. When Seneca Bay states that they have a resort style pool, they are not joking. The pool is generally not crowded at all, so if you're a pool lover, this place is the perfect fit. - Location and Affordability - As opposed to other communities in the area (15 mile radius) ,Seneca Bay is extremely affordable for people looking for a safe place to live. Tucked away in Bowley's Quarters, it is very quiet, and an extremely close knit community Cons: - Refuse Collection - Keep in mind that dumpsters are out in the open and near vehicles and that there is noting hiding them from the public, this is a bit of an eye sore. - Domesticated Animals & Wildlife - I know this sounds funny, but moving from a more urban area, I couldn't believe the amount of birds that are constantly around. They will start chirping at your window at 2:00 am and not stop until 7:00 pm mostly everyday for nine months of the year. You will need a sound machine! Also, for some reason pet owners do not pick up after their animals frequently, and they bark a lot obviously. Seneca Bay deals with the issues the best they can, and it is apartment living, just be advised. - Exterior Cleaning & Pest Control - Seneca Bay contracts out these services, and Orkin is the pest control provider. I am less than impressed with Orkin's services. Living near the water, there are a TON of mosquitos, spiders etc. Though they frequently don not enter the premises, they are always at your door trying to get in. Cleaning the outside area, (meaning stairs, hallways) I rarely saw the contractors for the better part of the year (maybe COVID related?) and the buildings themselves look a bit run down in my section of the complex. - Affordability & Location - While the affordability is a good thing, keep in mind that you do get what you pay for. At the price point, everything is great, just don't expect modern convinces that you would get if you paid $500 more a month. The complex and units are old, and most do not have large balconies, nice and spacious kitchens or bathrooms, fireplaces, high ceilings, great floor plans, or washer/dryers. Location as a whole is nice, but if you're not into boating, you are far away from most things. This is not a walkable location to restaurants or entertainment. Also, my unit is right next to a school, so there are constantly children being picked up/dropped off and I believe it serves as a voting location and bus stop for other schools. This can be detrimental if you are trying to work from home. (Pretty good Zoom call fodder though!) Overall, I give Seneca Bay a 4 out of 5 rating. I live in one of their renovated units and cannot complain. I would have given a 4.4 if I had the chance.

I absolutely love my new apartment! I moved in the end of December, with the help of the whole leasing staff. It's a long complicated story, but I had to move fast! Well, Justin found me the perfect place on my budget. I have a one bedroom with a walkout back and I'm on the end so I have the whole side just for me. Maintenance is wonderful, they come right away. Also there's so much to do here. The gym is open even though it's covid. They have dog parks, bikes to rent, and an Amazon pod. The pool opens in May, and I'm so excited to go swimming. If I were you reading this, call them right away. Ask for Justin, he's so nice and helps so much!
