This hospital doesn’t even deserve a 1 ⭐️ rating. My granddaughter is currently in the ED with a serious laceration to her hand and was also experiencing a severe panic attack upon arrival. A male comes from the back of the ED unit and tells her fiancé whom was trying to help her from hyperventilating and talking her through her attack, that her had to go sit OUTSIDE the hospital with their 8 month old baby in 90 degree temps that has respiratory conditions. How can this even be LEGAL??? This hospital is a piece of shit… I see lawsuits coming daily with this behavior.

Don’t go here unless you want to wait extremely long in the waiting room just to see the nurse (over 2 hours) and even longer to see a Doctor (over 6 hours). If you absolutely have to go, bring a pillow and a blanket because the waiting room gets cold and uncomfortable after waiting for so long.

Went to this place after I discovered that UPMC Pinnacle Union deposit screwed up my prescription. I had called the Union deposit facility at 8:10 and phone message said they were closed for July 4 holiday. Told emergency room receptionist I need a refill and have empty bottle with me. Never looked at it or asked what kind it is. Waited 2 hrs just to find out they can't do a refill, so I am out money for a co-pays and my health insurance gets billed. All receptionist had to do was either take the empty bottle or ask what kind and nurses could have told me that they couldn't do it. Horrible lack of communication. What a waste of time and money. I will never go back.
