Beautiful park and museum honoring the Miwok Indians and their way of life. Playground for kids and lots of BBQ benches. Great place to spend the afternoon in Novato

This park is a real gem in Novato. It has thick natural grass (many parks are adopting turfgrass). Right behind the free public parkinglot are huge trees which provide great shade, nestled by a creek with flowing water ( Winter only). There are picnic tables and BBQ'S. Great for all ages.
