Quick visit to urgent care for my daughter. Staff & doctor were pleasant & very helpful. I was able to pick up my daughte's rx med at the pharmacy soon after I left urgent care since it's electronically sent to the pharmacy. Thank you for taking care of my daughter!!

Went in for a thumb injury from a kitchen mandolin (My fault entirely). Fantastic doctor, very gentle (I think her name was Linh?), and the medical assistant (Monica I think was her name) had great bedside manor and a good sense of humor. Monica even held a fan to my face when my nausea flared up! Felt like they actually cared. Got me patched up and on my way in maybe 30-40 minutes from when I walked in the door. Immensely grateful that these folks are practicing medicine!

I went in for a hand laceration which resulted in needing sutures. When I walked into the clinic, I was greeted by professional friendly staff. My wait was short only to be greeted and cared for by even more exceptional back office staff. I was in and out of the clinic within an hour. Keep up the great work guys!

Such great service here. After running around trying to find an urgent care for my son who had an animal bite I called at about 8:45 pm and asked them if they would be able to see my son, the man who answered my call was so friendly and said they would be able to see him. We were about 15 min away and I really thought they would turn me away when I got there at 9pm but they gladly took us in. The nurse and provider were all so helpful and thorough with their exam. Thank you so much!

We do not perform x-rays at this facility but have the ability to have them done as an outpatient next door at Whittier Hospital without having to go through the ER and return after getting them done same day for management as needed (as long as your insurance allows). We usually prefer to evaluate injuries prior to sending for XR as many injuries do not require X-Rays. Unlike most Urgent cares when we send for X-rays, not only do we read them, but so does a licensed and credentialled radiologist. Have a wonderful day Dr. Mo
Thank you for your question Tammy. The turn around time depends on the lab volume. Due to the current peak in number of patients the turnaround time is currently 24 to 72 hours. With expedited testing it can be as little as 10 hours. If you come and get swabbed prior to 6pm, then you reduce the turnaround time by 24 hours. More information on our website afterhoursmedicalgroup.com on our Covid-19 page.
We can perform them, but is is advisable to see your orthopedic surgeon instead for such a procedure.
Thank you for your question. For minor injuries or infections of the eye we can help you. If you need to be examined for glasses, you would need to go to an optometrist.
I've gone for some time but we've never have had the need for x-rays so I'm not sure. You can call them to verify. They are very friendly.
