Great organization for helping families
maria zuniga
Hello my name is Maria and I just give them 5 stars because they helped me a lot. I had food, clothes, and a place to live for 3 months eventually they found me a transition shelter. They have a lot of rules but it is for our own safety. Well I am going to be very grateful for all the help that I got from them. Thank you very much to all the staff. Gabby, Brenda, Monica. Silvia ❤️ Thanks for take care of my Beautiful Hazel.

I hope this place changed. I was here a few years ago and they treated us bad. We felt like we were in prison. They're the reason I went back to my abuser. They would give us expired food. They would go through our things when we would go to the doctor. They lied by saying that we would go out after 72 hours and that was a lie. They wouldn't let us go anywhere. If I had to call my boss they would be on another phone listening to our calls. This place was a living hell. I didn't know who to report them so I never did. But the staff shouldn't treat these women worse than the abusers. I don't recommend this place if they have the same staff.

Can I just show up for shelter
They take all donations and what they can't give to the family is given to a thrift store that the proceeds go to the Women's crisis shelter. Diapers are needed also
They might not take used make-up due to new laws but they do have a thrift store. I have been taking stuff there & i have bought some clothes there. It's called Shelters Right Hand Thrift Shop 12300 Washington Blvd Whittier
Just ,get in touch with them directly. Not here to Google Maps. https://wccshope.org/
If they are new, the administration office will accept them, but if they're lightly used, you can drop it off at their thrift store where sometimes the women at the shelter go to and they pick the items that will fit them for free. The thrift store's name is- Shelter's Right Hand.
