The beginning of the whole process was very good. I called for an estimate. The technician was here promptly when he said he would be hear. I received a verbal estimate to install 2 storm door for $400. I received an email regarding the estimate and there was no price listed. In hindsight I should have questioned this. I was going on the recommendation from the clerk at Home Depot. The day of the installation Paul arrived first. Nice gentleman. Chris arrived later. Long story short the bill was for $1112. Almost triple the estimate. I was expecting it to be over the $400 but not that much. Chris had an attitude. I paid by check feeling totally like I was duped. I realized the technicians had no control over the bill. I asked about my 2 back porch steps being replace. Chris winged and quoted some price. Paul actually measured the steps and realized they were bigger. Needless to say I will not be having my stairs repaired. I called the main office the next day. Steve listened to me. He was about to off about $112. It was great but I was pleased. Due to but fact I paid by check he has to get back to me. He called back later in the day and said no. The price I paid would stand. I think what upsets most is the it tripled from the original estimate. I was willing to accept the small adjust. But they was pulled back. I have used other services over the years and have spread the names of the companies given them many customers.Unfortunately this will not be the case. I was so excited thinking I found a company I could continue to use. I am greatly disappointed by this experience.

A disaster. We worked with Handyman previously and were happy with their work. So when they gave us an initial quote of $1300 and then upped it to $2400 we let it slide. Paul or technician worked very slow. Not a deal breaker. Initially a first glance his work was fine. However, he did not finish the job in the time he said they would but assured us they would come back to finish the job the next day. They assured us it would be part of the initial quote of $2400. After they "finished the job" the following day they out of the blue said we owe them an additional $1500. With no notice. No will this be ok if we go over the quote and after they assured us it would be part of the original quote Of course my wife refused to pay and asked to talk with the boss. He spoke with a customer service rep who said Paul should have explained and cleared the additional charge with us before doing the additional work. He said the customer service person was supposed to do that blaming each other. Then Paul said, "ok ok but just sign this form before I go." Which was the form that says in fine print I agree to pay the fee. ??!! Sleezbag. So we ask to talk with the boss. When he called my wife back he called her a liar, that she was making it all up and refused to acknowledge his disorganized team's mistake. Then he sent a mechanics lien on our house for $1500. After I did an additional 6 hours of work cleaning up the mistakes and finishing Paul's job the next day I also noticed a light fixture where the contractor was coming in and out of the house had been broken and then cleaned up. I doubt my 3 year old broke it and then cleaned it up. Happy to go to court! See you there guys. I would happily pay double the cost for court just to prove these sleezbags wrong. Poor management.

Contracted Mr. Handyman to repair exterior window sill rot. Chris was excellent and very knowledgeable! I never saw him take a break and he kept us in the loop on what needed to be done as he tackled the rot on each individual sill, as the damage was different on each sill (some rot went into the area between the inside wall and outside shingles). I would highly recommend both Chris and Mr. Handyman!!!

We could find no contractor that possessed the innovative thinking skills that can only be acquired through professional experience. Our man Chris not only installed the diagonal top rails better than the previous homeowner and beautifully repaired our damaged lattice skirting. We will turn to Mr. Handyman again for our next two projects!
