Very complicated application, asking for all sort of documents and make you feel like you’re applying for a mortgage not an apartment ! Their application requirements are ridiculous and the application fee is $60 !

I was applying for a lease take over and within minutes of sending over the application I was informed my mixed breed dog was on the restriction list and I was getting denied. They do not post the dog breed restrictions anywhere on the application or on their website. I would not have guessed my dog would appear on the list as he is not a typical restricted mixed breed. I asked for the property management to reimburse my application fee since before they could run my application through credit checks I already was denied. I was told it was not their policy to reimburse application fees and their hands were tied. They proceeded with all the checks knowing my application was denied within minutes due to the dog. They are not an honest company, they proceeded with an application that was already not going to be approved which cost me $60.

I have lived at the Metropolitan for several years. The location is the perfect mix of being close enough to walk to town and yet still feel like you're living in the suburbs. The Metropolitan has the perfect blend of nature surrounding it offering people the chance to enjoy and relax. The maintenance crew is superb. Always friendly and competent. Danielle M. in the Leasing Office is beyond friendly and helpful. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I feel I made the right choice in choosing the Metropolitan as my home.

I recently transitioned between apartments at the Metropolitan. The transition experience was terrific due to the professionalism and flexibility of the leasing office. Susan and Danielle did an excellent job at working with me to ensure that the transition went smoothly. It is relief to know that the management truly care about the wellbeing of their residents. The maintenance crew are another asset to living here. Since moving into the metropolitan nearly two years ago, maintenance has always gone above and beyond. Another benefit to living here that I’ll touch upon is the location. I can not say enough about how great it is to be within walking distance of the town. Lastly, the residents at the metro are great. I have developed lifelong friendships with my neighbors here. If you’re looking for a place in WC, I would take this complex into consideration.
