We originally had Tesla for our solar. We lost communication with them, which I later found out it was on my part. So we decided to go with Semper Solaris in the meantime. We are former military and felt going with a military owned business would be good. After being in the contract for only 10 days, Tesla reached out to us to fix the issue. Tesla was able to give us more kilowatts for a lot less than Semper Solaris. In other words, more solar panels for less. So I asked to cancel the contract, which again, we only had for 10 days and they refused to return our deposit. They said they had a 5 day cancelation timeline, which I do not recall them telling me over the phone. Their deposit is $1000 compared to Tesla's at $250. With Tesla you can get your deposit back up until installation. If you go with Semper, they are more expense and make sure you shopped around because once you give them your deposit you will lose it

Terrible company. Try calling there customer service after you have paid them. They will hang up on you every time you get an agent online while on hold. They flag your accounts and wont let you speak to anyone beyond customer service rep ... when they put you on hold you are then hung up on. They are truly an awful company that lies about everything they are and do. See the photos of their poor work.

If I could give more stars I would. Our rep, Bernie Townley, was wonderful. We had lots of questions and needed hand holding. His responses were prompt and professional. The installers were great. They left our home neater and cleaner than before they started work. The whole permitting process was seamless. Highly recommend!

Semper Solaris was extremely easy to work with. They took care of everything form start to finish including permitting, installation, account setup, warranty etc. They communicated clearly and consistently throughout the entire process.
