Great location on the river. Close to canoe rentals. We were tent camping but cabins look nice too.

If you are tent camping there are basically no restroom facilities here. The existing bathrooms have not been kept up, the doors are broken and toilets almost unusable and filthy. No showers to speak of. Luckily our large group had rvs but if you are only tent camping you are out of luck.

First time at this campground..overall not too bad...a bit over crowded. We stayed in a cabin and we thought it was over priced for what we got. The bathroom was dirty and dusty and the cabin seemed like it hadn't been cleaned "good" in awhile. But they did get us in a cabin last minute..which was a plus for us! Overall not bad but not terrible.

I have read through the other comments. Yes the campground is right on the river which is amazing! That is the only good thing about it and we truly enjoyed that aspect. But... I stayed here once and did try and go back to give it another shot recently but when I called to make reservations I got the same rude unprofessional attitude over the phone so I just said I would call back and didn’t. The first and only time I camped here I called MONTHS in advance and updated them with any updates I had and asked multiple times if everything was good. We were tent camping but asked for electric for a large group. When we arrived they didn’t even have my name correct for the reservation so they couldn’t find my reservation at first.Didn’t have us down for electric. They also didn’t have me down for enough sites for my large of group. So they put us by one of the bathrooms so we could use the outlet on the outhouse. The bathrooms were not clean at all. The bathroom ended up getting backed up and they had heavy equipment digging up sewer right by our tents. The showers you have to pay for with quarters and they are not clean there is only cold water. The people running it are rude and not friendly. I am not new to camping either so for me to say the bathrooms aren’t clean and everything else you can believe me. I also hate leaving bad reviews but felt like I needed to.
