Great place to float. Can put yourself in at one side of the campground and get out at the other. Super nice beach for playing, swimming and sitting in a lawn chair. Very nice people run this with a clean campground and handy store. Safe for kids to ride bikes in, no outside traffic. Quiet at night. Not a party campground. A+++

My family and I have camped here a couple of times now. We do the primitive with no electric sites. The campground itself is great for a family. There is a general store with good hours just a convenient walk or drive from anywhere in the campground which is nice. I love how they have quiet hours from 11pm to 7 am I believe. The swimming and swim beach is a great place to spend the day when you're not floating the river. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are very clean. No real brush or trash to deal with. The bathrooms in the middle of the grounds could use a upgrade, or at least more room in the stalls. Also, the shower rooms could use some nice stalls as well as a way to keep the dressing areas dry from the shower water. Overall, we love it and we will be back next year, if not sooner.

Friendly staff and we appreciated the free showers. I read a lot of reviews and didn't really see anything about the sheets of limestone and how they make it impossible to stake down your tent or the fact that our campsite was on a hill. So when a storm blew through we lost two decent size tents from flooding and wind. The primitive w/ electric campsites are too small and have you right up against other campers. It felt overcrowded at times and the geographic location left us disappointed and looking for a hotel room that night due to losing our tents. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.

Yeah, both the jacks fork river and current river. The outfitters will charge an extra fee to haul it. You can haul the equipment yourself if you know where the put in sites are located.
