I have done business with the CSLB since 1975. I have always been treated with respect and all of my needs taken care of. Furthermore, they are not funded by tax money, the license fees and direct contractor activity revenues are what funds the CSLB. The offices are operated by regular people like you or me. They are not overpaid like some government contractors are. They do not have free coffee in the office, or anything like that. The rules they follow are strict, they are not in it for the money, they serve the people of the state. They do not have a club that sides with licensed contractors and if any of them tried to "be biased", they would likely loose their job fast. I do not understand how anyone could post a 1 star review without any comment, or facts and expect anyone to take the post seriously. My contractors Lic# is 315036, I am Greg Chick, sole owner of that license.

The attendants were very polite, friendly, helpful and patient. My American Express card was quickly accepted. Even with a few people in front of me it only took about 15 minutes. Plenty of free and handicap parking. New building interiors and elevators. There is a $1 dollar convenience fee for using a credit card and their in-house computer system. They accept no cash. Rock On! Trump for President.

It sounds like we had the same GC.
Steve up above gave best advice. You can also let city where work was done let them know report him.
File a complaint with the state contractors licensing board. Contractors pay a bond for this purpose.
Yes you can
See if he has a contractor's license and report him to CSLB. You can look him up on the CSLB portal online. They will handle the rest.
How I can open new company
Search on Google for "check a license" and it will take you the cslb section of their website where you enter whatever info you have on a contractor and you can check them out there.
What does it mean contractors law
Of course. I would actually take a general contractor's advice over a home inspector's advice any day.
Yes you can. Have a city inspector look at your roof. Then file a complaint. After city inspector proves it was done improperly.
Call Cslb california state license border , they will support you
Report them to the Better Business Bureau BBB
Not sure exactly what you're talking about whether its power pressure cleaning with water Or managing someone's power pressure. I would imagine you need some sort of contractor's license 1st before you can apply for the business license, Which you would apply for in the city in which you're working or live.
Check the contractor's stata website and put the Name and license number of the contractor and they will tell you if there is any complaint.
I'd call Better Business Bureau ,also did you check their Contractor License on the CSLB website to make sure their license and bond are up to date.
