Absolutely beautiful scenery. The water alone was breath taking (literally 55° from the Spring!) Camping areas along with picnic pavilion. We'll worth the $2 parking.

The first day was horrible cuz somebody stayed there was dogs that barked at absolutely everything all morning long I complain so much that they left thank God so the second day was great very peaceful but you do have to watch out for Bears according to one of the park guys that was emptying the garbage he put a trail cam out before they open for the season and did not catch any on trail cam but they still have to warn you just in case so don't bring food in your tent they are only black bears which are more docile but still do not chance it by bringing food into your tent

Lovely campground. September is a great time to camp here. The camp host it on duty until the end of September. The campground stays open until the end of October. Great opportunity to watch the fall colors in the Ozarks. Peaceful and quiet stayed 4 days. The wild birds were fun to watch.

I absolutely love this place and will be coming back! Very private sites, heavily wooded, beautiful spring and it's not on gravel!

Not sure how long its open but it is right now. Just left yesterday.
They're usually 8 dollars a night for a regular, no hook up site
Year round I believe
We lived about a mile from there for years and now camp there every year. What would you like to know? It is USFS, has 6 electrical sites, no dump station there but one in Rolla at Loves. No water but several faucets in campground and/or picnic area. Well maintained with caretaker. Two great hiking trails, Little Piney River to swim or wade. Rolla is about 10 miles with Walmart, Kroger. Good places to eat too. Half price with Golden Age but not expensive otherwise. My favorite campground! Anything else I can help you with?
Yes there have restrooms but no showers. Price depends on if you want electricity. $8 without and $15 with per night. Cash is required as they do envelope drop box.
Water is not really conducive for swimming, but wading is prevalent
Pavilions are first come forst serve unless u reserve ahead pf time and parking is $2
