My Aunt and I reserved a storage unit online a month in advance here. A confirmation email was sent out with the size of the unit and the address of the location it was at. We drove 3 hours with a uhaul full of boxes to drop it all off and were told the reservation didn't exist, but there were units available where we would have to carry up boxes to it one by one. When we showed the front desk girl the email for the unit with an elevator, all she said was that she didn't know why it wasn't available and suggested we drive next door to another company to see if they had the right size unit available. On our way out to drive next door, my Aunt ran into another worker and told her about what had happened. The other worker said that there definitely was a unit available with an elevator with the exact size that we were looking for and didn't know why the other girl told us otherwise. I'm not sure if the first girl was new, but she definitely shouldn't have been left at the front desk by herself if she didn't have a clue what she was doing. We ended up going next door to rent a unit there and were much happier with the service.

UPDATE: well U-Haul finally came through and approved the insurance claim from the damage. Good to see they stand behind their services. This place installed a hitch for me. A year later the botched install resulted in the wiring wrapped around the axle and $1000 damage. Uhaul declined to pay the insurance claim. Avoid this company for anything other than buying boxes.

Moving is stressful but with U-Haul managers like Amanda, it will cut your stress in half at the very least. Don't go anywhere else for your moving needs/requirements. Apparently a grace period isn't a thing here. Would have been nice to know before I chose this place for storage. Due date is the 6th, I get paid either the 9th or 10th depending on the week. So I pay when I get paid. My payment history even shows that I pay the 9th or 10th each month Today (the 9th) I come to my unit and they've decided to lock me out. Only 3 days after due date. 3 days. So no grace period ? Don't even get me started on the text messages you'll get about the due dates that you'll probably be well aware of.
