Wonderful quiet small town library. Hardly anyone ever there so it has a very calm atmosphere. The librarians are nice and helpful as well. They have copy machine, printer, fax machine, microfilm reader, computers, free wifi, telescope, couches, tables, chairs, windows looking out towards road, well lit library too.

I love this little library. The people at the desk are always willing to help me with certain transactions on the computer. They also sell books for 25 cents each.

You can find the answers to your questions here: http://dspl.missouri.org/new-passport-services/ De Soto Public Library does not have the capability to take passport photos. There are 3 places in town that does that. Mueller Electric, Walgreen's, and Wal-Mart.

Are there computers available?

Libraries are supported by tax dollars ..they have to pay staff, but materials, pay utility Bill's, etc. They are a bargain but not exactly free. Welcome, Lori, and we hope you will come in and learn all about what we can offer to you.
