I brought in several bags of clothes, many of which were new, named brand items, a few with tags. They didn't take anything except a jacket. They have younger kids working there who are going to drive this place into the ground. They are are selling nothing but junk. They said they're not looking for any formal or dressy items and they want younger, trendy clothing. It seems pretty androgynous type of clothing. I don't think they understand the client demographic shopping at this location. I went to a very popular competitor in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area and they took almost half of the clothing I brought! The place was crowded with shoppers and a line at checkout whereas Crossroads Trading Company barely had any one and this was on the weekend!

Been here a couple times. They have nothing I would buy or wear. There selection is horrible.. I heard they buy clothes, so I thought I’d help by bringing in some better clothes that were in the store. They did not buy one thing of my 40 items. I know my clothes were better then anything they had there. Goodwill is so much better in so many ways!!!! There is no going back to this place. They are overpriced. My boyfriend bought a Nike shirt from Marshall’s for $16.99 they were selling a used one for $18. 50 !!! This place has lost their mind! I am surprised they stay open.

Selling here is a nightmare. It’s impossible. The workers are extremely picky and unfair. They overprice all of their clothing. Thrift stores are supposed to be affordable to those who can’t shop at high end places, and this store is quite the opposite. You might as well go get new pieces at brandy or urban because it’s the same price there and the clothing is new. Not to mention, the customer service is awful. Ceaser is extremely rude to all of his customers. He makes me and my whole family feel completely unwanted. I am never selling or buying here again.

This is a great consignment shop to sell to and buy from. Compared to a Plato's Closet or similar resale store, they give you more for what you sell. They almost always have great items for sale for good prices! Just the other day they had a pair of Dior heels for $32 and Tory Burch jeans for $16. The best strategy I have found is to sell what you no longer want, choose the store credit value since that is higher, then spend it on items you do want. Ideally, items that are half price! As far as selling goes, while they do give you a decent price, they probably won't take everything you think they will. I took two bags of nice clothes and shoes in and they only chose a few things. I have found it's better to take small amounts in so there is not so much to choose from. -- UPDATE: I have since taken items on three different occasions and they didn't buy anything. A woman in front of me had a fit because they tagged and put a sensor through a pair of shoes she had not yet agreed to sell, and the hole from the sensor damaged them. Be careful when dealing!

Thanks for your email. The decision to purchase any clothing is made in the store at the Sell counter. You can call the store directly and ask to speak to a buyer and they should be able to help, or just bring your items in and have the buyer take a look.

Yes we do.To clarify, we give you 50% trade or 33% cash of the total retail we buy from you. Our stores price according to condition and currency, pricing items at rates that they think other customers would be okay paying.
