Unfortunately, the last few years almost any retail store I walk into I get ignored or can't find anyone to help, this WAS NOT the case today. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, I let them know I had an online order for dogfood to pick up & needed some fish. I didn't get her name, but the girl that got me the fish I needed was nice & helpful also. I checked out with Spencer who had originally greeted me, he asked me if I had their app, I did not (I never do store apps). He told me every 7 bags of dogfood I buy, I get a free one, our dogfood is $93.00 a bag so this was a no-brainer. He was very knowledgeable about the app & the fish I bought. The service I received today was a breath of fresh air in today's world where is seems many don't want to work at all. I will be back

When I walked back to the Salt Water selection I was seriously horrifed at what I had saw. The corals were all deflated, the pumps were not on, AND about every single fish out of at least 25 had ick (a sickness that comes from bad water quality). My family and I immediately turned around and went to a different store entirely (not petco) to purchase livestock. Absolutely horrendous how those fish were living. The only word I could say to describe this situation was "cruel".
