My friend,an older women, was released from this hospital. I picked her up. She is confined to a wheelchair. They set her outside wearing only a thin top and diapers. Unbelievable. What a horrible thing to do. Stripping away a person's dignity. Nobody deserves to be treated this way. Nobody. Avoid this place as something is really wrong with the staff. I cannot believe this. This is not a third world country.

My mom just had a surgery yesterday, and she's been taken well care of. Especially the nurse Lala, Susan, and Jamie S. Jamie went above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. π Thank you very much! Without him bringing us the equipemnt for helping with leg circulation, I don't know if there will be any blood clog stayed in my mom's veins. Overall, Good experience. Thank you everyone!

Went to this ER at 2:15am and was asked by a receptionist to sit and wait for a nurse. No one but me was there. Half an hour later nothing happened and there was no one there still. People in the reception area just chatted and showed no caring. Too tired and sick to wait I left and went to another ER. People in the reception area saw me walking out, not saying a word and showed no caring. The guard glanced at me and immediately glued back to his cell phone. What an uncaring place to be called ER. If I fell dead in there, no one would notice and care!!

This hospital has the worst ER. I brought my mom here in March as she was having a minor stroke. They examined her and ran some tests and didnβt find the stroke. They waited over 6 hours to do the MRI, and that was when they found the stroke in her brain. It is also too late for them to do the special injection that all stroke patients need within 2 hours of having the stroke. I had to argue with the ER nurse in charge named Kristine and she refused to call a doctor to examine her and give her the injection within the 2 hours window!!! Then, they kept her there for a night and no one was watching her when she had a second stroke, which is a major stroke this time. In fact, they didnβt find it until the morning when she was completely paralyzed! They charged a lot of money for putting her in the hospital claiming that they have nurses to care her in case she has a second stroke. They donβt allow a family member to stay overnight to care for her either. My mom had a second stroke while no one was there! No nurse, no doctor, and no one was there! DONβT BRING your love ones to San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. All they care about is collecting money from insurance companies!!!

I have no idea because you are messaging San Gabriel valley Medical Center and not Queen of the valley Medical Center.

For visiting a patient? Generally, no. For visiting and getting checked at the ER? If it is not an emergency, use urgent care centers.
Ask the nurse not Google
Yes, they have a renal specialist
There are Chinese nurses to choose, no need to make an appointment.
Yes, what I noticed is that cancer MD sends their patients to get chemotherapy treatment. Give a call with your PCP or Cancer/chemo MD.
