I went in looking for hiking shoes, Steven helped me out, he was so knowledgeable and helped me find some shoes that fit well. He also went above and beyond and was really kind to my 2 year old son who I had with me and was running around like kids do. he distracted him while I tested the shoes out. A really wonderful store, and great people!

A great place to get camping, hiking, kayaking and climbing gear! Great variety. As a specialty store, its offerings reasonably priced, but much better in quality than what can be purchased in a box store. Always a great opportunity to buy local.

Upon entry to the store you will find hand sanitizer, face masks for customer use, and gloves for customer use. We request that you wear a mask to protect our employees. All multiple touch surfaces will be disinfected frequently throughout each day. We ask that you social distance while inside the store.
We do allow dogs in the store that are on a leash!
We do not sell any hunting and fishing licenses at J&H Lanmark.
I don't think they rent kayaks. You should call and ask
They typically have every Red River Gorge rock climbing guidebook that is in print. Miguel's climb shop in Slade should have them too.
