We used this campground overnight but it would be a lovely place to spend a week at. The campground was super clean and the hosts gave us friendly greetings. The bathrooms were older but clean. I didn't see any trash anywhere. There is even a pool.

The amenities here are great especially if you are camping with the family. The nature center and extra activities on the weekend was fun and unexpected for a state park. Ample bath houses was nice. They do need a bit of upkeep, some of them have a lot of some type of worms all over the showers. There were ample spots to choose from even on the weekend which is rare. The staff and hosts were all friendly and helpful. This park is also beautiful with well maintained trails.

Very beautiful place. Camp ground has a lot of options and space from one section to the next. If you are doing RV type camping the sites are great but for tent camping you have to be careful which spot you choose as there are places that don't have the best tent camping land (hills, space). Definitely right on the water so perfect for boating.

We stayed there a few weeks ago and they do have anything from huge RV campsites to Rustic totally in the woods camping. Plus, they have glow worms in some of the trees and you can see the Milky Way! its beautiful and definitely Class A in my book, l I just wish I could have stayed longer!!

My wife is handicapped and must use crutches to get around. Is it possible to bring a golf cart to help her to the bathroom and things?

We did not stay at cabins.

We have rented a cabin for july 4, do we check in at park office? What happens if we get there after office closes please?

You will go through the first gate. They will charge you 9 dollars for out of state and 7 dollars for in state. Then go to next check in and they will check you in. Make sure you call them ahead of time your arrival and let them know you will be late. And they will make arrangements for you to get the key. They are great people. My wife and I go there all the time. But be sure to call if you arrive after hours
