The amount of different colors of roses was amazing. I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. Spring was such an awesome time to visit.

The rose garden is just that, many beautiful roses to enjoy. There is a gazebo and benches. You will often find wedding parties and others taking pictures snd sometimes an actual wedding.

You dont need to pay but you might need to call because i know they do close it off on weekends for appt only. You have to have a reserved time spot to get into it on weekends. During the week ive gone and taken pictures no problem.

I don't see why not, I would call though. Since the Rose Garden does usually have to be reserved
Maybe an evening picnic would be best, check to see when the sun sets and get there an hour or two before. That would be the best time for a picnic.
