Staff does not do anything to keep the noise level down. There’s a middle school across the street and lots of teenagers love to come in here and cause a disturbance, where the staff does nothing about it.

Very nice staff. Got great community center for the kiddos... Nice and peaceful area... Not a lot of suspicious activity going on over this area cause I'm security Here. 😁😏😎

We checked out 2 kid's books right before Covid shutdown. Apparently library is up and running since 1.5 later they are billing us for these books, threatening to send us to collections and to refuse to lend our kids any more books. Are you serious? Threatening your patrons to send them to collections over $20 worth of books (btw these numbers are inflated as those books were used when we checked them out). Here is CNN article: "$2 million at least for every state Congress gave about $50 million to libraries when it passed its $2.2 trillion relief bill, the CARES Act, last March. The money expected from the American Rescue Plan that passed this week will send another $200 million to the Institute of Museum and Library Services, an agency that provides federal support to libraries and museums across the country. Most of the new funds will go to state library agencies using a population-based formula, with a $2 million state minimum, according to the American Library Association." Way to teach kids compassion by penny pinching shaking them down for books that you haven't asked for (and didn't want due to Covid spread) for over a year. Thank God for the internet. Tons of books for affordable price.

I’ve been spending a lot of time here recently during my job search. I actually like that it isn’t a stuffy library. Sometimes it can be way louder than a typical library and I’m ok with that. Also a plus is that the computers are always open and not many people on them so you have room to wiggle.

Yes, you are more than welcome to stop by and ask. You can ask for Paula, David or Hilda. There are a few volunteering opportunities
Yes. If printing from the computer, it's 10¢ a page for black and white or 25¢ a page if you need color. Photocopies are 20¢ a page. You don't need a library card if you're making photocopies, but you will need a valid Riverside Public Library card to print from the computer. Wireless printing or printing from personal devices is not currently available.
