They are greedy crooks. We had to break our lease early and they demanded two months rent penalty and kept my deposit, even though they had someone move in the very next month. I tried to reason with them and said I can pay one month penalty but they refused to work with me and still demanded two months. So with the security deposit, they wanted over $3,400 in fees. The place isn’t that great and way over priced.

Gave a deposit and had approved application with move in date. They call me two weeks before I am supposed to move in and tell me the unit is no longer available since the current resident decided to stay, I am now two weeks away from my house selling and have no place for my family to life. Dishonest and could care less! After reading the other reviews here maybe it is for the best as clearly they do not care about their residents! DO NOT LIVE HERE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I will be reporting to the BBB and the Secretary of State.

Beware... when I originally went to look at the townhomes I was shown a beautiful display which was very clean . I asked to see the unit I would be living in, was told it was occupied & unavailable . I was bribed to sign the lease because multiple ppl were looking at it & it was the only unit they had available. Being vulnerable I signed the lease w/o seeing the actual unit. When I signed my lease, I was given keys to a dirty unit . They had not cleaned the walls, food was on the walls, dirt & dust . There were dead bugs in the window, at the front door, cabinets were falling apart & it smelled like smoke . The carpet was dirty, bathtubs had lots of grime. I was disgusted and truly disturbed . When I asked to get out of my lease they denied me . In some states they call this a “bait & switch” which is illegal . Sadly Missouri does not have a law for this . If you plan to live here please see your actual unit prior to signing your lease.

I will be honest that I am writing this review while I am angry. Now that that has been said, here are my issues with this place. My wife and I lived there for a year and a half. We didn't have too many issues while living there except that the property manager wasn't around as often as one should be. (Every time I'd go up there, 5/10 the manager wasn't there.) The original property manager told me that they would consider giving me my pet deposit back at the end of our stay, or at least a portion of their extremely expensive non-refundable deposit. When the new manager came in, she said she wouldn't honor that. I was willing to let this go, as when I checked out, I was told by three people, including the property manager, that our place looked great and we would get our full deposit back. Just found out today that we were charged for a carpet cleaning fee. When asked about this, and when I explained that we were told we would get our deposit back in full, I was told that they hire a carpet cleaning company to come and clean all apartments, and they go by what the company said they did. Well, this company said they had to do a 2nd cleaning of the little bit of carpet we have upstairs. I am honestly telling you all that we didn't spill anything upstairs the whole time we lived there. We were only upstairs to sleep and dress. We were always downstairs as that is where the living room and kitchen were. The fact that they won't give the full deposit based on what they told me, by 3 people, when we checked out, is a terrible display of management. I was told that they have used this company for years, and just believe what that company says and pass on the bill to those moving out. So, if you read this far, I encourage you to find a different place to live. While the townhomes aren't bad, and are decently priced, in the end, the company doesn't care about their word and will still take your deposit. I was planning on giving this a 4 star review, with the only blemish being that they don't enforce picking up after dog waste by their residents, and that the agreements I was offered when I first came weren't honored, but instead they will get a 2. Hopefully they will read this and do better for others in the future!
