We had an amazing Rafting Adventure with AVA! We are a large family group, that needed to be put into 2 rafts. Both guides; River and Amanda did a fantastic job keeping our rafts close, so we could still see each other while going down the river. Much appreciated!!! We highly recommend AVA!! We had a great time rafting the Clear Creek Gold Rush route. Jackson our guide was great! He worked hard to make our trip great especially with the water being a little lower this time of season in spots. Plenty of drops and rapids for stage 2 and 3. I would highly recommend this company and trip and Jackson as your guide. We had ages 10 to 65 on the raft and everyone of us had a blast.

Jess and Xavier (ziplining guides) were AWESOME!!! Safety conscious without being rude. Light-hearted, but serious. Funny, but informative. They made the excursion SO much more fun. Jack was our rafting guide and he was AWESOME, also. Great guide, very friendly, as saved my 235# butt and my daughter when we got tossed overboard. You can literally trust him with your life.

Absolutely loved rafting and had a great time! Parking at the city lot is only $2/day so don’t use the app or you’ll end up spending way more (if it actually works for you). Maybe in the future there will be some way to include the parking price in the ticket or validate somehow but from talking to staff it seemed unlikely. That’s why I suggest not using the app because you’ll spend more than you need to. Our guide Jackson was amazing. Funny and chill. He had great stories to tell and seemed experienced enough for the more scared members of our group to feel safe. I would suggest that staff somehow allow people who are there early to start the process of getting on wetsuits etc. because it takes longer to do that and then go all the way back to the car and come all the way back than originally thought. A big part of the anxiety in our group was fear that we wouldn’t get back in time and they would leave without us. That was not the case and they were specifically checking that everyone was there. I’m thinking it felt more rushed than it really was. I’m not sure that it would be possible to let people start getting on the gear early, so maybe some confirmation that we won’t get left behind would help ease nerves. Anyways, everyone was great and did a great job!
