Great 3.5 mile walk/light hike around the reservior. Beautiful views of DTLA and the Hollywood sign. Several clean porta potties along the track. Most of the loop is on a paved access road but there is a section that is gravel beside a busy road so keep your kids close.

Avoid the Griffith Park crowds and do the reservoir trail instead. Nice hike around the reseryand the easy hike up the sign in quiet neighborhood.

When plans were made to drain the reservoir, one of the nearby homeowners who complained was singer Madonna.
