Great atmosphere and service with servings to share! Do NOT skip the fried pickles!! Hoping to see veggie burgers added to the menu, I’ve heard great reviews for their burgers!

Nicely curated restaurant with a unique dining area in Teddy Roosevelt's personal train car. The atmosphere is terrific as is the staff - warm and friendly. The food is your typical bar food - warm, tasty, and made to order.

Great service, food was great as well. Waitstaff couldn't be nicer. Not to mention the charm of the railcar and its memorabilia in the glass cases.

We came in from the heat after shopping for antiques. It was a late lunch. We donned our masks since the Covid warnings were back on. Most of the patrons and all of the staff were wearing masks as they should. We were seated by a young waitress who was fairly attentive to us. She did have a number of tables to wait, but we felt she worked us in at just the right timing. I asked for her suggestions about their specialties. She suggested the Reuben was a well known favorite there, so I ordered it. My wife had a specialty burger called Teddy's Choice with onion straws. I ordered deep fried mushrooms as a starter. Soon we had the mushrooms. I couldn't believe how many they served. Usually you get 6-8 mushrooms. Oh no! This was an entire basket full. There must have been between 20-25 button mushrooms. The price for that was $7.95. That is about what I usually pay, but I got a lot more. The Reuben was soon to come. The rye bread was lightly toasted and the corned beef was a thicker cut than I have ever seen used in a Reuben. The sandwich was great, the mushroom appetizer was extra special, my wife's meal was big enough that she had half then and made dinner that evening out of the other half. The waitress was very helpful. The decor where we were seated was a railcar redone into a dining car and the walls opposite us were display cases of historical drinks, bottles, and other fascinating little doodads. The bill with our drinks was about $42 which for the location, quality, and service I felt was very appropriate. Give these people some business. I think you will want to return to try out more of their menu. We went back the next day, new waitress and had a great experience also. Cost was under $33 for two.
