I drove an hour to come here because of it reputation and experience in the past. I ordered garlic nuggets and they arrived at the table and was hard as a rock had to peel them apart to eat. Ordered 2 large pizzas, the stuffed shrimp pasta and the chicken parmesean. The 2 pastas came with salads. The salad was brown with rotted lettuce, got the end of the tomato, and a cucumber that was so dried out it looked like a jalapeño. The 2 pizzas were deep dish sausage and deep dish chicken and tomato. The pizza was good. The pasta wasn't great. So if you choose to go here I would recommend pizza only. Good luck on getting any napkins or a server that cares. I will not be returning.

Spent over $50 bucks for pizza that was hard and barely had any sauce. Nuggets were dry and tough. Pizza wasn't even cut through. Super disappointed!

Friends invited us to join them here on a Saturday night. The place was very easy to find and to find parking. The handicap parking is pretty limited but was very accessible. The restaurant was also accessible and not real crowded. The restaurant was clean and seating was well spaced. The service was outstanding and the meal flowed from drinks and appetizers through the pizza. The drinks were very good and the alcohol was plentiful. We ordered dough nuggeta and sauce and a thin crust pizza, the pizza was good but the nuggets were not that great, some were very soggy while others were hard. I personally would not order those again but I would return for drinks and pizza.

Stopped in after hiking at near by starved rock. Quiet Tuesday afternoon but that didn’t stop the staff from going above sand beyond. The La Grotto Garlic Parmesan bites are a fantastic appetizer. We got a medium deep crust pizza which was probably some of the best we’ve had. High praises for Lou’s LaGrotto!
