I was enjoying a beer on the other side. My wife does not drink beer so we walked into Star Union to get her a cocktail. We were ran out before we got a chance to order because you can’t bring “outside” drinks in. The sign on the door does state “no outside drinks” but it’s very unclear there is real separation between Star and the rest of the building. I wouldn’t consider a drink from the same building “outside”. The Star employee was just very rude about it. After my beer I really wanted to go try something from them but just couldn’t get over the way I was treated earlier. I’ll take my business somewhere that appreciates it.

Really cool experience. Stopped by to taste their new whiskey. Excellent. Also tried the reserve and navy-strength rum and the brandy. I'm absolutely blown away by the quality. Had a few cocktails too, some of the best I've found. When closing out, casually asked our hostess about whether they offer tours of the distillery, and she grabbed one of the owners who gave my fiancee and I a private tour right on the spot. Very clean place with nice atmosphere and jazz/blues/swing music in the background. Made for a fun way to spend a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon. Will be back.

I just hosted my bridal shower at Star Union Spirits and it was the perfect venue! The space was huge, so distancing during Covid was not an issue. All of our bartenders were on top of everything: picking up plates and empty glasses, getting water and drinks to people, and making great conversation with my guests plus they did distillery tours too! It was literally the perfect day and I know it's because of the hospitality, great service, delicious drinks, and beautiful venue that Star Union provided! You definitely have loyal customers out of my whole family!

I could not be more impressed with this place if I wanted to be. They were VERY welcoming, gave me and my kids a tour and their products are fantastic. Plus....local business. Worth every penny to walk in their front door!
