I do want to start with the good. The staff was friendly and our room itself was clean. Breakfast was standard fare of waffles, breads, cereals and egg dish. Hotel was sold out and they kept it stocked except for, ironically, Sunday after most of hotel was empty. Sunday they ran out of biscuits/sausage gravy. But now we move to the bad including sanitary concerns starting from worst: 1. Sink in breakfast area was backed up with dirty water for over 24-hrs. 2. Trash at back entry wasn’t cleared for at least 24-hrs. See pictures of maggots in trash and trash blowing down lawn. 3. Pool water was cloudy to point that, in a sold out hotel filled with families, no one used the pool the entire week. 4. There were two water leaks on first floor, carpet remained saturated for the entire week (not even fans placed on it) which does cause one to wonder about mold/mildew plus we had to walk thru the “squishy” carpets to get to our room 5. ONE ice machine worked in the entire hotel which eventually broke leaving us with NO working ice machines 6. Back stairway wasn’t vacuumed cleaned for multiple days. 7. Similarly elevator had bits of trash and popcorn on its floors for a few days. 8. The lobby furniture is worn. It’s brown leather and is worn down to the grey fibers which isn’t a big deal but combined with everything else shows a desperate need for this hotel to be maintained better. There were also minor plumbing issues in our room but they were nothing compared to the rest of this list.

Currently staying for a softball tournament - rooms are old and bathroom and shower is gross! Wanted to switch rooms but can’t get in touch with front desk- however, I would guess the entire hotel is just as disgusting

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good.

Positive: The front desk staff was the most friendly people I¿ve met at hotels in a long time. Negative: The room had little imperfections like a water stain in the ceiling, or dust behind the vent in the bathroom that was clearly visible. The room was very clean, but those make it not a perfect room.
