They replaced my brakes for a reasonable price. They did it in a timely manner. BHOWEVER. When they checked my fluids, they didn’t put the coolant cap all the way back on. They said they would send someone as soon as they get off at 5.. I am still waiting hours later.. And I have to work tomorrow but my car is screwed.. So thanks for that.

I recently purchased a Classic Car and was looking for a great Mechanic. After a few failures, I found Griffen’s. I was looking for a good Mechanic but was also hoping for a well-run professional clean garage. Griffen’s gave me the best of both. I have a great Service Manager and a fantastic Automotive Technician / Master Mechanic. I higher recommend Griffen’s for any car repair new or old.

I got a prepurchase inspection here for a vintage Benz before finalizing my purchase. BIG MISTAKE. Absolute negligence and a misrepresentation of skill and service. I called ahead and asked if they knew my year and model of car well, and if they could do a detailed pre-purchase inspection for me. They said yes, definitely bring it in. So I did. I'm told fluids need changing and a small handful of other non urgent things. I told them I needed to drive 2 hours north towards home safely, and to make sure my car was capable of that. They said I was good to go! I turn my car on to hear it run, and immediately I notice an issue with the vacuum system that wasn't present before. The car won't turn off. I ask the mechanic to come look, and see if they can find the source or if they noticed this to be an issue, and the guy who serviced my car said he DIDNT KNOW MY TYPE OF CAR WELL, so he yelled to a different guy to come over and look. This other mechanic took a cursory look and offered little advice but pointed out that some tubes and wires weren't connected which "could be an issue". Like what?? He knew the cars well but wasn't the one who inspected my vehicle. Ok so... did anyone even open my hood at all? The whole point of coming to Griffin was because they said they knew my type of car. Strike 1. Little did I know, they missed some other even more major issues that should have been clear to the plain eye. Turns out my engine mounts were compromised and the engine was sinking dangerously low, and there were multiple holes in the fuel line and it was clogged, and my brake master cylinder was dangerously in disrepair and needed immediate replacing. NONE of these things were notated on the pre purchase inspection. I discovered these issues while on my drive home because my car lost power, and my brakes lost pressure on the freeway! Strike 2. I tow my car to a beloved mechanic in my city, and they show me immediately what the issues are. Strike 3? Best yet. The owner texts me to ask if I was satisfied with my service, so I detail the issues, and politely ask for a refund. The owner then tells me that my concerns about my car arent valid and talks around the problem while making excuses. But he's the one that asked for my feedback? I have not received any compensation for my ridiculously poor excuse for a prepurchase inspection. Do not go here if you are a woman, they will not respect your concerns or give you the time of day. The only positive: the guy who worked at reception was very nice.

I bought a new intake for my Mercedes GLC and unfortunately with the holidays didn't have enough time to do the install myself. I called around to a few shops and Griffin was hands down the most professional and helpful over the phone. They told me to come in the next day for a quick check to make sure they could get everything done, and sure enough they fit me in no problem. They finished earlier than they told me they would and the install was perfectly done. Very happy with the services and absolutely recommend. Professional, friendly, great follow up and no hidden prices as it was exactly what I was quoted.
