I started attending soon after the pandemic started in spring of 2020 when Coastline was having weekend services in the parking lot. The worship is so powerful - mostly contemporary songs with the occasional hymn here and there. I connect with God through musical worship, so this aspect was important to me. However, Pastor Steve’s sermons are the reason I’ve continued to attend. Pastor Steve boldly and unapologetically teaches the Truth - his Bible-based teaching is authentic and relatable. I hear something that’s directly applicable to my life every Sunday. The school-age children’s ministry is not watered down. There’s high energy worship and an animated Bible story is discussed each week. They teach from an actual Bible, not a children’s version, and they teach the kids how to navigate through it. I highly recommend this church!! Come visit and see for yourself!!

This is my first time to this church and it was just amazing the worship service was amazing and today Michael Franzese gave his testimony how he went from being a monster in the Colombo crime family to survey Jesus Christ the church is all over the world for the past 25 years.

So impressed! I'm not a church hopper. When I attend, If it's a church that fits the model I'm looking for (bible teaching, bible believing, Christ following) I'll be there for at least a couple years or more until something changes. New Song was wonderful but the woman leading the woman's group wasn't kind to me. It was cliquey and I hadn't made 1 friend in 2.5 years. I moved to Calvary Oceanside. My wonderful pastor had health issues and passed away. The women's group was large and friendly. There was one leader that took issue with me and ran the craft/sewing ministry. I could handle that but my unsaved husband harassed during a home Bible study so we moved to the leader of the craft ministry's husband's home ministry and when she started to take issue with me, she loved us out of the bible study. It's been years and my husband was so offended he utterly rejects church and says Christians are awful because what he saw people put me through. After over 3 years at Calvary, I moved to Lifepoint.city because I thought my husband would attend if I moved to another church. No other reason. Calvary is awesome! Lifepoint.city is awesome and the people are very sweet. The owner of the rented building sold it. I guess it hurt meeting locations when no one was allowed to meet regularly for more than a year. Lifepoint.city is homeless and sleeping on their friends couches so to speak. They are going to be moving around until they find home. I pray they find a building soon. During all this, lifepoint.city's pastor had a stroke and was unable to preach consistently. Bless his heart. His preaching is fabulous. The church has been watching a lot of Greg Laurie videos. I was there for a a long time, almost a 2 years. I felt like the Lord was nudging me to move. I've been in Oceanside for 10 years now. I kept seeing the sign for Coastline but never considered it. I've attended 3 times now and watched online 2x. It's been a long time since I've felt the messages were crafted specifically for me. I know they're not but you know you're at the right church when the Lord speaks to you through his servants. They are a Bible believing, teaching and God serving church. I'm glad I'm here. The administration pastor called me the day after I attended the 1st time, texted me a couple times and the church wants you to know right away you are part of their community if you want to be. Come and try it. Any church under a microscope will fail as people aren't perfect. Set your eyes on Jesus rather than the church. If your looking for a place that will help you set your eyes on Jesus this is a good one. Calvary is good, lifepoint.city is also a good one. I'm going to make Coastline my home.

One of the greatest churches in the area! Although no church in the world is perfect, when the preaching of God's Word is taught and your encouraged to read and study it for yourself, it comes close. I've attended for over 20 years and the love is real! Go not seeking to be pleased, but go seeking God!
