Excellent food, great presentation. For the price salmon portion should have been bigger: small plate for $39. But fresh and delicious.

Amazing staff!!! I was "that guy" walking in right before close keeping staff from being able to check out. The kitchen was closed but they welcomed me with open arms and prepared me a delicious shrimp cocktail with some fine spirits when they could have just said we are closing. From the second walking into the door it felt like "family". I highly recommend checking out the anvil club for every day dining and special occasions, you will be taken care of like one of their kin with exceptional hospitality.

The apps, soup and the ambiance were just the only things that we liked about this place. Not special enough to return. Other than that spend your money elsewhere. Overrated and overpriced. This was our first time at The Anvil Club and we were very disappointed by our experience. It took about 15-20 min to order a drink, mind you we were the only table in the dining room at the time. The drink I ordered was underwhelming in taste and when the bill arrived it was $16, I would say definitely overpriced for what it was. It just wasn't good by any means, I don't know how they can charge such prices for underrated drinks. I couldn't drink it, so I just gave it to my fiance. We came for the April $44 special. I would say the apps were good but the steak I had wasn't all that much to write home about. I got my food first and my fiance had to wait 10 minutes for his seafood to be cooked because they forgot to put it on his pasta.. I was half way finished with my entrée by the time his meal came back correct. When it arrived, the linguini pasta he ordered was just NOT GOOD in the slightest. It tasted like something out of a can. I had higher expectations for this place and we both agreed we wouldn't return, definitely not worth the money. If you want quality food and good service I would recommend BLEU ROOT. It is just a block or two away. Their prices are fair and the food is EXCELLENT. The quality is definitely better than The Anvil Club. Unfortunate because we wanted to like this place.

Have dined at the Anvil Club over 10 times since 2020 when they opened up to the public. My husband and I absolutely love this place. The service, staff, food quality, and amazing drinks all attribute to the amazing quality that is Anvil Club. The steaks are phenomenal...my husband loves the parmesan crust. The drinks are well made and delightful. It is pricey but I do believe that you are getting 100% of what you pay for here. They have live music on the weekends (typically piano) and I just really love the vibe. Lots of antiques and relics including a door shot up by Al Capone and the bar I believe is from an old theater, very tastefully decorated and further adds to the ambiance. They have a really cool event space in the downstairs that I hope to someday utilize as well as a 10 person private dining room for an intimate friend or family gathering. I highly recommend the Anvil Club and look forward to my reservation this upcoming weekend!
