Ron's Cozy Corner

We went to Ron's Cozy Corner for lunch with 30 people after a Memorial Service up the street. I had called but neglected to confirm so they didn't know if we were coming or not. The staff at Ron's quickly set up tables to accommodate us. The owner came and greeted us and was so nice and helpful with taking care of 30 people. The bartender Chris rocked out drinks without batting an eye. Our experience there was fantastic and we will certainly be back again..but with fewer people.

I love Ron's restaurant and I normally have a great experience. But the other day wasn't so good, because of the waitress mostly. She apparently was doing a bad job of serving by coming with the salad to late and the hot food to early. We barely got our salads and she came with the hot food. Apparently there was another couple more important than us, because she kept ignoring our needs while she just kept chatting away with the other couple. When we could get her attention she seemed very annoyed with us. Also my friend is a very good tipper and just gave her the minimal amount. I just wish I could remember her name so you could talk to her about this type of behavior. I come to this restaurant regularly and the food is great.

50 minute wait at a busy time, makes sense. Waitress had no personality had an attitude from when we sat down. Tried to order 3 different items from the menu and she told us we don’t make the complicated stuff. When I finally got my burger I tasted nothing but burnt char and the fries were super soggy. I had to rip my napkin in half and share it with my significant other because we were never asked or talked to. I am surprised we actually got a refill on soda. No tip. Sorry. I always tip. But not today.

We went here for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We went mid week later evening so it was quiet- we had great service, very attentive and kind. They have a huge menu- so if you come hungry it’s hard to make a decision!! If you don’t eat meat- they have nice vegetarian options! I usually choose vegetarian but I saw the boom boom shrimp and HAD to try it and it did not disappoint! My husband went for their fish fry and loved it! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back!
