My favorite place for hardware. For a small space they have a surprising amount of supplies and tools. They also make keys, cut glass and sharpen knives. Knowledgable and helpful staff. Very easy to find someone to help or answer questions - and the staff actually know a lot about home repair. The antidote to Home Depot where it takes 20 minutes to find someone to answer a question - if they even know the answer.

Love this Mom and Pop hardware store!!! For me it’s worth the extra few cents to support a family owned Hardware Store!!! Thank You Franklin’s Hardware for keeping it REAL in a not so real world these days !!!

Really bad company....bad attitude towards customer. Chip is the owner, really hard head, rude and arrogant. They overcharge you and say" yes we charge more than other places, because we are nice!!!" Really?? We have not seen niceness with attacky bad behavior of the owner and attendants. Besides, they do not carry many items and have a small inventory , you end up going to Home Depot anyway. Home depot provides much better service with much less prices.

I asked my wife to pick up a motion sensor light switch at this True Value. We are trying to support the local businesses. But when I saw the amount on our card came out at 180% the price I would've paid anywhere else for the exact same switch, same brand, same model - I was mad. I get that the big stores get a bigger discount, but 180% higher pricing will keep me from affording repairs to my home. Sad to have to go back to Bezos/orange boxes etc. But what choice do I have?
