I’m glad to report now that after some misunderstanding about what needed to done with my Roland Juno 106 synthesizer, it’s working and sounding very nicely. It cost some money but it’s working like brand new.

It’s hard to find a good tech for your prized audio gear. Some charge exorbitant fees, some take months to complete the work, and some are completely untransparent about their entire process. This ARS shop is quite possibly the worst operation I have ever seen with regards to audio. Their method for testing a high-end power amp was to plug each channel one by one using a decomposed cable spliced together with electrical tape into a single janky guitar amp. We stood there for 25 minutes while the “tech” fumbled with the most ridiculous cable I’ve ever seen - ultimately unable to get his input source working. How can you trust a tech like that to give you any sort of accurate diagnosis, or a reasonable repair strategy / cost? Short answer, you can’t. These people asked for $500 to repair something they didn’t even diagnose properly. The young woman managing the desk had probably the ugliest attitude I’ve ever seen in a “professional” business. Completely uneducated on her job, unhelpful, extremely rude, and dishonest. After mentioning that I work in audio myself, she asked why I brought in gear for repair if I’m a “professional” myself. An attempt to be snarky yet a wholeheartedly stupid comment to wrap my experience at this shop. Stay far away from these dishonest scam artists. I urge you!

1-they did not provide and itemized list of what they what to charge , told me it will show up on invoice after i paid. 2-the mixer has returned missing parts, no one called back when i informed them. they asked for an outrages amount of money to fix an issue with out providing information on what they will be replacing.

Yes, we do, Michael. Feel free to drop it off during business hours and we’ll check it out and call you with an estimate. There’s a $50 bench fee collected at drop-off that will apply to the final repair charges. Thank you for writing and be well!
Due to their cost and lack of parts and support from manufacturers, we do not work on home audio or video equipment, such as Visio sound bars. We work on vintage home audio amplifiers and receivers + pro audio equipment. Thank you for writing and be well!
Our bench fee is $50 per unit, which will apply to the repair charges once you approve the estimate. Thank you for your question and we hope to see you and your Marshall soon!
We can definitely check out the speakers for you and let you know what the problem is and what your options are. If the problem is in the cross-over or input circuit, it can most likely be repaired without OEM parts and if the problem is with the actual drivers (speakers), we can often recone them or find similar replacement drivers. The only way to know for sure is to bring your speakers in to have them diagnosed. Thank you for writing and have a great day!
Yes, we do! We repair all professional level CD players and a few consumer level devices as well. Many inexpensive / consumer devices do not have parts available or would cost more to repair than they are worth, so please check in with us before coming in, so we can save you time.
Yes, we do! We're an authorized Crate (as well as most other major manufacturer) service center for all warranty and non-warranty repairs.
