I have finally found a great Mexican restaurant after moving to San Diego in March. I'm going so far as to call it the best family style/sports bar Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean premises. They have taken over a number of store spaces next to their original restaurant so they are able to host quite large events it appears. The waiter first asked if I wanted something to drink and I asked for water. He brought a large plastic beer mug with a straw, filled with ice and cold water, as well as chips, red salsa, green salsa, and pickled vegetables. You don't get free stuff much any more these days! The salsas were excellent, but I think the chips were a day old. I looked over the extensive menu and ordered the classic Arroz con Pollo. It was so beautifully presented, full of colorful rice and vegetables, as well as plenty of chicken. I decided to approach this like I've seen the chefs on tv do it - a taste of each element on its own. First, the rice. Ohhh, juicy, a beautiful color, flavorful, in short everything it should be - delicious! Next, I tasted a strip of green pepper and then a piece of red pepper. There were also onions, tomatoes, and peas. Each vegetable was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Lastly, the chicken. Nicely seasoned and cooked. The whole plateful of food was lightly covered with a white cheese. So perfect! So yummy! As much as I wanted to eat it all, today I was smart and saved half for dinner! I will definitely be back and tell all my friends about Emiliano's!

Service was great. Food was alright. It's extremely pricey there. My combo meal plus coffee cost me $18.75. for food that wasn't that great. But my friends love it there, so I go.

This was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and an overall excellent restaurant experience. The chips and salsa tasted very fresh and the guacamole was incredibly smooth. I had the chicken chimichanga and it was great. It was crispy on the outside and the chicken didn't end up dry at all. The rice and beans were also great and really brought the meal together. The staff was friendly, but not in an extremely persistent way that would be annoying. The restaurant is in a great location and has great views. It sits over a golf course with mountains in the background, so there's a lot to take in visually. Stylistically, the restaurant has a very classic look. The tables are painted to look like they have tiles and one of the walls in the back room featured a mural. The music they had playing completed the atmosphere and all of this at once made me feel a nostalgia that I haven't felt in a while.

Food was very good. Nice view over the golf course if you sit in the back room. There's also a Sunday brunch. Service wasn't good--no water refills and had to go to other room to ask for tortillas. Would I go back? Yes but I'd be more proactive with the server.

I'm not sure. You can call and ask. But I know their food is delicious and reasonably priced.
I don't know. I suggest asking them.
