I went here two days ago and the food is good but this place is so HOT!! They don't even have A/C in the middle of summer time. I sitting there for 5 minutes and I already start sweating. Imagine you're eating BBQ in the sauna room.

This place was great as it does close pretty late (12am). The atmosphere and setting was like a scene straight out of a movie lol. The quality of the meats were above average. The side dishes were well seasoned, and the soft tofu soup was superb. This is the first time we have seen rice paper as a side dish, so we used it as a rollup for our meats and it was so tasty! yum yum! The staff were very fast and attentive. Overall we had a great time. A+

Very good quality meats, and reasonable prices. I surprisingly enjoyed their salad dressing and egg pot. We had fun and experimented with random meats that we normally don't order like squid and intestines. I'm happy I have adventurous eaters as friends. I wish they had rice paper when I was there but they ran out. Overall, I still would recommend this place.

We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table inside to open up for Handoo as it was really busy on a Saturday night, but there was seating outside but it was really cold for an October night. There were 3 Menus that included different premium meats to grill, we settled for Menu A - 25.99 for about 2 hours. The sides menu is unlimited at this location. I wasn't really a fan of the the marinade used for the bulgogi as I prefer it sweet but it wasn't bad. The other meats we had were good, but nothing to write home about. The service was slow as we didn't have a button or pager to call for when we wanted more. The restaurant was also super busy so sometimes we waited for long periods before someone even came by our table. Out of the KBBQ spots I've been to in SD, this was an alright experience. If other places are busy, this spot is an easy quick pick for an affordable meal.
