Customer service is decent when you can get someone on the line. But that is the hard part. Their phone menu system is a nightmare and if your issue doesn't fit one of the few options you'll find yourself going round and round in the menus without ever reaching a live person.

I have contacted SDGE several times to fix a street lamppost light , they are telling me 3-4 months. I have several children and elderly people on my street. It is not safe to walk on my own street. Vehicles that come down the street can't see anyone. We also have coyotes, so walking our own pets is a problem. It is pure neglect, and putting everyone in danger.

it's not like you have an option. this company sucks. they charged me 100 deposit. after i moved its like pulling teeth with these stupid employees trying to get it back, i called 3 times already and they cant get a simple address update right. everything take 10 business days to get money back but they will take your money in minutes for a payment.

Yes. If you have a balance remaining and the account has been closed for a certain amount of time then they do send it to a collection agency.
