Never been to a Smart n Final with better customer service!! I am pregnant and was having a craving issue - Jessica (purple hair and rainbow mask) singlehandedly SOLVED my issue and made me sooo grateful. I also felt so comfortable there as a Transperson because not only was she wearing a rainbow mask, but she also had her pronouns written directly on her name tag! My partner also had two great encounters with her today - once while working DoorDash and doing a shop for a customer and a second time after work when she checked him out. Wonderful human. So glad she works there. Truly a Jedi master as her belt said! THANK YOU JESSICA!!

The Carlsbad store is one I drive past the Encinitas store to get to the freeway north bound. Once in a while the Encinitas store has a good manager. The Carlsbad store is always consistently well stocked shelves and helpful employees on the floor. The produce section is excellent in Carlsbad, as is the meat counter. It is a long drive to get what I need.

Competetive prices and good produce with occasionally excellent sales. Staff is always friendly. Things can be a little hit and miss sometimes for stocking and having items labeled/priced, but the variety of items and brands available is remarkable for such a small store. It is a good service and convenience to the Village. Since it has become a Smart&Final I am a now a regular customer at this location.
