I don't live here or know anyone who does, but I don't know that I would be happy knowing my grandparents live in such a chaotic place. This facility can't go a single 24hr period without the paramedics responding with the fire dept, always code 3 (lights and sirens). It's bad enough that the staff treats the back door as a main entrance and general loud social gathering area, then you have near-contant emergency medical traffic. Not very courteous to the shift-working apartment dwellers next door like me, or the poor residents of this facility trying to enjoy their golden years IN PEACE. If it isn't the medics, the fire trucks, the regular sized van that has the world's loudest backup alarm, the garbage trucks, the big rig 18-wheelers delivering food, or the unnecessarily loud staff, it is the inconsiderate visitors that are either yelling to their loved ones' windows or blasting their car music while idleing at this BACK entrance. Again, I would feel awful putting anyone I cared about in such a noisy ambulance magnet of a place.

Beautiful facility, wonderful staff. My mother moved to St. Paul's Plaza 3 months ago and so far we love it. The staff has been so helpful and loving to my mom. Anytime we ask for help they take care of her right away. They also make sure she gets out for dining and activities. She lives in memory care and we couldn't be more pleased. It's been a wonderful experience. The facility looks like a beautiful hotel, it's clean and they are very careful about Covid. We also found their prices are comparable to other senior residences in the area.

During my visits to St Paul’s Plaza Chula Vista, what I appreciate the most is clean ventilated air. It has central AC going through the entire building including Apts n all hallways( no fooling us) I could feel the clean filtered air coming out thru the vents I saw toxic air being sucked out. St Paul Plaza s not fooling U... it really has healthy ventilation!!!! The air quality I feel s excellent... no us old people’s odor, no foul smell.. I felt good afterwards without sore throat nor ill effects. They tell me the building is 5 yrs old... it really looks n smells like brand new... Believe me I ve visited many other senior facilities I just wanted to do a UTurn n exit quickly. Thank u so much St Paul Plaza for us seniors especially, our longevity depends on the environment....what we breathe in n what we ingest.... I must not forget Alyssa the front desk receptionist... she was done w her shift leaving she saw me waiting outside looking nervous waiting for Lyft. She reassured me Lyft would arrive in 3 mins...She waited w me helped me up onto the van n buckled me in.She was so nurturing so sweet and tender I really really was very grateful thank you Alyssa for all your help. Genesis was w me but her appt arrived.. so she had to leave...🙏🌈🌹

The facility is beautiful and the staff that assists the residents are just ok. There are only two administration staff members that care. Genesis is wonderful, you can ask for her when you call. The manager, Bryce, is horrible. Rude and condescending. He doesn't listen and he interrupts you when you are trying to state your problems or issues or ask questions. He's a complete control addict and only feels good when he thinks he has the upper hand. The residents were not kind to my mom. She only stayed 21 days and we ended up having to pay about $7000 for those days. She left because another resident hit her and a male resident followed her to her room and proposed to her in one day. He also tried to enter her room after she told him to get away. VERY creepy. I highly advise you do not spend a dime here.
